Tropi (Michael Tropiano)

Dad taught me photography...

Shooting on film, developing his photos in a makeshift dark room at college, he had this amazing technical understanding of what it takes to capture the perfect photo.

I have always been a fascination in all the things that work against you as a photographer. Cryptic and endangered wildlife that require an intimate understanding of their behaviour before they can be found, waterfalls that flow for only a few hours a year and the moments that happen the second you look away from the lens.

A background in Marine Biology has given me a deep understanding of the ocean, the place I have spent my life working, playing and taking photos.

Dingus (Jordan Walden)

Dingus began his career in photography and film-making as a producer of outdoor television programs in the United States. His work traveling and filming these predominantly hunting TV shows took him all over the United States, Canada, and Argentina… and first got him addicted to the wild.

In 2015, Dingus left the United States and became a traveling scuba diving instructor - living in Thailand, Nicaragua, and the South Pacific teaching scuba diving and cutting his teeth as an underwater photographer and film-maker.

Dingus found a permanent home on the Ningaloo Reef in 2019, where he began to produce his “fake talk show” Dingus vs Wild in his caravan and joined the Find Wild Photos team.

Now, at home in Western Australia, Dingus has the unique opportunity to capture some of the most extraordinary wildlife encounters in the world.
